Out. For. A. Walk.

My walks have been something I really look forward to lately. I head up to the Market, or down the canal. On Friday I walked up to the Starbucks on Notre Dame and got myself a fancy coffee. It was awesome. It was also like 20 degrees.

Last week, though, it was rainy, and I had my trusty trench.

Trench, Old Navy
Boots, VANS
Jeans, Les Ailes de la Mode
Top & hoodie, Reitmans

My non-bang bangs are being really good lately. My hair in general is behaving pretty much like I always wanted it to. Yet I do want to chop it. Chin-length, I think. I love chin length.

The market is great. You should go, if you’ve not been. Right now during the day it’s pretty great, there are very few people there so I get the run of it. The outside stalls are still up and people have the most delicious looking squash and fall veg.

This fall, I’ve enjoyed it a lot more than previous ones. Usually, I think I’m just dreading the cold and having nothing to look forward to, but this year I’m really taking my time. Pies and cakes are certainly helping, I’ve also been roasting things, which makes the house smell great and feel homey.

I’m finding myself looking forward to a lot more of the traditional fall things – cider, hot chocolate, crunchy leaves. Also cleaning things, but that’s less fall and just that I have the time to finally go through everything and pare down, or organize, or just do things that I would normally put off. Yay, fall!
