Professional-Like

Well, it’s October, and I started looking for work. I’ve had a few interviews so far, and one was even promising! I wore this:

Urk! Lumpy. I swear it wasn’t this bad in person.

Pants, Attitude by Jay Manuel at Sears (seriously.)
Blouse, thrifted, originally Reitmans
Sweater, F21
Boots, Christian Siriano for Payless (these are so awesome)
Jewels, Mina’s wedding Jewels

I did a french twist in my hair, and sectioned off the front to curl like it does. Putting most of it up and just curling my bangs is something I’ve done a few times lately and I love. It takes ten or fifteen minutes instead of a full hour, which is what it takes to curl my whole head, and I love that, too.

I hunted around for pants that fit and make me feel good for hours before my first interview, and I am so very happy with these. They’re comfortable, and look great, too, if I may say.

They are, though, as always, too long. I rigged them up with duct tape, which is my hemming practice of choice. You can even wash it.
