February Glymm Box

This is my fifth Glymm box:

Compared to the Luxe box the contents are a little underwhelming, numbers wise. The box seems less ‘full’. They made a huge mistake in getting rid of the jelly beans, which were a part of the first three Glymm’s I got – and a selling point which totally convinced my friends to get one.

The products:

Sula Natural Shadow – Full size. The colour I got is a lovely petal pink and I’ve been wearing it almost daily.

Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm – Full size. Burt’s Bees products are favourites of just about everyone, and I was pretty pleased to receive this, having just run out of my Honey Lemon BB Balm. There is the slightest hint of colour. It’s great!

GlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud Mask – The sample size is very good, enough for two masks. The product is pleasant to use and made me skin feel nice and smooth, and bright. It retails for $78 and for that I’m out. The Lush masks do the same thing for me for 1/5 of the price.

Mai Couture 2 in 1 Oil Blotting / Bronzing Papier – The idea of this is genius! It’s an oil blotter with product so it tops up your blush / bronzer. I got a bronzer which I don’t use, so I will pass this along to my sister, but I think the idea is fab.

I love my Glymm boxes, and I’ve convinced like four people to get them. HOWEVER, their customer service is really sub-par. You have to e-mail two or three times to get a response, and even then if you e-mail with two issues they address only one. My referral link doesn’t seem to work – I’ve referred as I said a number of people and each time I have had to e-mail them to get the points added to my account. Last time I e-mailed with both this issue and the change of address and it took an exchange of seven e-mails to get those two things done. I also suggested perhaps there’s a problem with my link, and no one even bothered to respond to that.

Their site is also super finicky. I can’t buy a product, I’m met with constant site errors. Half the time I can’t log in – this happens at work, at home, and on my phone. Twitter leads me to believe I’m not the only person with this issue, either.

I keep getting the boxes, so it’s not something that is a big enough deal for me to stop paying them, though! The exclusive products, the full-sizes (which are basically monthly) and the cute pink box (really) keeps me coming back. If ONLY there were jellies!

If you want a Glymm box, my referral link is this – but shoot me an e-mail and let me know you’ve signed up so I can check if it works!

  1. Sweet! I scoured your blog to see if I could find the Glymm review too. ๐Ÿ™‚

I got the exact same stuff as you here, only my Sula shadow is in a round container (He Loves Me, cream shadow). The oil blotting/bronzier papier is a neat idea, agreed… but only one paper? C’mon. That, a deluxe sample, does not make! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Word on the jellies. MOAR JELLIES!

  2. By scoured, I mean scrolled up, and missed it, and then scrolled down, and missed it, and then landed on it and d’oh!-ed. ๐Ÿ˜‰
