This dress could’ve worked for the Challenge, as well, and Lauren wanted me to wear it, but I had already picked up the colourful number, so no go.
I’ve been suffering hair boredom, you know. It’s the in-between length, it’s super fine, it’s awesomely coloured, yes, but it’s limp from the heat. And I hate ponytails. I asked the lad to learn to do a French Braid, and we will, but he got frustrated on the first go, so I had to come up with something else.
Do you remember the topsy tail? Topsy Tails were the be-all and end-all of hairstyles when I was in primary school. Remembering this, I tried to do a braid-like thing with multiple topsy tails down my head:
It turned out so great!!
I was, as always, a little bit suspicious of my photographer, certain he was not taking pictures of my hair, as demanded, but rather snapping away at my bum, or some such, so I turned to make sure and he caught this side-glance.
The topsy tail! I’m bringing it back.
Great hair! I might try it myself, but I suspect my layers will ruin it. You can do a French braid on yourself, you know. The multiple topsy-tail probably involved just as much coordination…
Omg, the topsy tail! Yay! That was the funnest hair tool of our youth! 😀
I LOVE your hair, Sab. It looks super pretty, and the colors pulled in is really, really nice!
Love that dress too – it is the perfect color for the challenge, but I love the dress you went with too! You don’t have to stick to the colors I set. This dress is super feminine and compliments your fab curves. 🙂 Ya can’t blame your photog for taking pics of your bum. 😉
