I don’t think I’ll ever be able to really pull off a midi-length in the way I want, sadly. This overdress hits me just at the point that it makes me seem about a foot shorter than I am. At 5’1″, that’s not my favourite look ever. Ah well. Scissors, here I come.

These dresses were just hanging together and I noticed the two-tone dots totally worked. It was also handy that I had a dress under a dress, because the blustery winds kept trying to show the world my underpants.

Wrapping this up with some things that make me happy:

Amazing flowers from the lad’s mum’s garden, photographed just like I want them! and on my KITCHEN TABLE (fuck yea!)

Awesome new curtains to block out the early, early morning sun (but not too much!)
