Brights

This dress is one of my favourites. I have a lot of favourites.

Dress, F21
Sweater, H&M
Leggings, American Apparel
Boots, Sorel
Watch, Miss Sixty
Socks, pressie for Christmas from someone
Earrings, can’t see clearly! Grr!

I dropped salad dressing on the chest of this dress and there is a permanent oil stain on it, so I can’t wear it without a topper, which is unfortunate because it really does make me feel awesome – the neckline, the colour, the cut, everything about it is fab. And it was like $11 at F21. I should’ve bought the others, I knew it.
I was off to grocery shop with my sister and bestie, and we ended up taking a little road trip out to the middle of nowhere (Ile Perot) where my mother lives. She lives with her fellow in his beautiful 1940s home, all wooden and open and very envy-inducing. Someday, I’ll buy a 1940s home. Until then, my apartment is pretty rad.
While there, my mother gifted me with a gorgeous white dress which I will have to figure out how to wear – I’m thinking by dyeing it navy.

  1. Re: salad dressing stain: pour liquid detergent on the spot and rub it in, then leave it for a few minutes before washing. If not gone after washing, repeat. This usually tends to get the grease spots out of my clothes. Washing these things in hot water is supposed to help as well. Just fyi if you haven’t tried any of this already!
