I went on a little bit of a post-cape acquisition cape-frenzy, needing MORE CAPES!
What? I needed appropriate fall apparel! As of this writing, though, it’s too damn cold for capes, I need to move on to heartier winter coats.

The hat was slightly misshapen, but I tossed it in the washer on cold, and loosened it up, shaped the brim and popped it on my head to roundy it out, and it’s now perfect. This photo shows it pre-shaped, and even then it’s not weird looking.
I added to it one of my (many, many) brooches and I think it looks pretty cute. Also, shiny. Shiny is always good.

This dude terrorizes my cats from the balcony, and has no fear of humans. I like him.

Love your sweater guard in the first pic, and love the cape and hat pairing. They match splendidly; even the squirrel can be mistaken for an accessory (he’s really cute)! 🙂
They do match pretty well! I was really pleased. I bought another hat (non-brown) to go with my black coats, as well, last night. It’s super super cute.
