I think I did remarkably well on purchases this month, though I have a feeling something is missing. Also I know it’s only the 21st. Shh.
RBC has this nifty thing where it breaks down your % spending. Clothing/Shoes was my biggest category after rent. This is less than ideal. 20% of my spending. HOWEVER, I did spend a large chunk on winter boots and a winter coat.
Also I think I paid for some things cash, and I don’t recall what those things were!
2010-12-14, I brought home the fascinator/tiny hat dealie, at $11.23 and my new Joan of Arctic boots (so warm!) at $203.16
2010-12-08, I got my new winter coat (also so warm) for $180.58
2010-12-01, I got my pull-on pants at Reitmans (33.86) and .. something at Winners. Oh! My new bright green London Fog purse, $36.12
Not on this list, as I guess they’ve not come up on my CC yet are: a dress from Thinkgeek, a shirt from Woot. ($40, $15)
Hopefully I can go the next few days without buying anything for myself.
Some time I’d be interested to see your clothing/shoe storage system as I don’t think I’ve seen much duplication in outfit components yet. So I’m guessing your wardrobe must be pretty extensive. Is it arranged by some super-organized colour/type/etc system? Or do you just pull things out randomly to try new combinations?
I’ve got a floordrobe rather than a system, at the moment. I occasionally will go through and sort things and colour code them and that lasts about a week 🙂 Usually my outfits come to me in dreams, and I look different in my dreams so I’m not sure if they work until I wear them out!
