We started our list of things to do this summer, having done nearly all of the things on our todo list for the winter! We did not get out to the Domaine de la Foret Perdue, but that’s likely for the best given how poorly I did at the Rideau Canal! (It may have involved sitting down on the ice and crying. Maybe.) We got out to St Come to check out the ice sculptures, finally, and I took a walk on Mont Royal with Lauren, which was pretty ace. We didn’t get to go ice fishing, so we have something to add to next year’s winter list!

This summer, there will be many things to do: kayaking, tubing, camping. All firsts for one of us – I’ve never kayaked or camped (outside of Girl Guides), and Jules has never been tubing! It seems like a long way off, but I am certain it will sneak up on us.
