Who’s down with OTT?

In May or June, we hit up our Nation’s Capital.

No outfit in this post, so I’ll tell you what J is wearing:

Sunnies, Ray Ban, gift from me (we had a fight, and I felt bad. They came a month later, when we were no longer fighting.)
Tee, Tristan, from his mom
Jeans, Levis
Shoes, VANS, super electric green
Watch, G-Shock (his own)

Though you can’t see it, I wore a striped CK dress, and my Impanema sandals. I got many blisters, it was not cool.

Everyone was all “Why are you going to Ottawa? You know they have nothing” And you know what I say to those people? Haters. We had a great time! We went to the Nature museum and saw diosaurs, and they were awesome. There was also a Burtynsky exhibit on there, which really pleased J. It was amazing! I can’t believe how much detail he captures in a single photo.
We walked from there down Bank street and looked at a bunch of shops, and stopped for Coffee at bread and sons – no barista there after 1PM, so it was drip coffee, but it was very good. We ate at Zak’s diner, where they fed me a samwich on gluten-free bread! And we did not go to Zaphod’s, because we were too tired (old).

I wouldn’t be like “OMG go spend your two week holiday in Ottawa!” because yeah, you’d be bored, but for a day trip or even two days I think it was great. I’d really like to go back to see the other museums (everything closed at 5PM! theres not enough open hours of a day to see things in that time!), and I have folk to visit out there, so we’ll be making another trip, someday. It’s super close by!
