On this evening, I went out with Lauren and some of her classmates from elementary school. It was pretty super duper fun. This is one of my favourite skirts. I bought it when I was seventeen. I love the shape of it. I used to wear it low on the hip – apparently now my natural waist is the size my hips used to be. I have way too many black skirts, and to justify keeping them all, I’m trying to wear them. This is a black skirt I got a few years ago. It’s lineny and therefore summery and has like airy panels to keep my bum cool. This is how I justify keeping it. I finally got the hairdye out of this skirt! It only took like ten washings. The nice thing about non-permanent dye is it doesn’t forever stain your clothes. It doesn’t forever stain your hair, either, which is less nice. However, I am pleased that my skirt is not ruined. this skirt is made of sweatpants. But I think it’s okay, because it’s not ‘really’ sweatpants. I used to argue with Mina that pull-on pants were a slippery slope toward sweatpants, and I think this might be closer. I have to give up that argument, or admit that I am getting to an age where sweatpants might be just acceptable attire. I’m not. This is what I wore to see Daniel Tosh. It was a good day, a good show. Had tacos for the second time at Grumman78 (The Taco Truck!) and it was delicious of course.
