Apparently, it is ‘so so creepy’ that I always have the same body position. It’s not intentional, it’s just what feels semi-natural. Had Thanksgiving dinner with friends, this year, and it’s my first Thanksgiving as a vegetarian. I made a beet and brussell sprout dish with a balsamic maple reduction, and there were a lot of options for me at dinner. Our host made lamb and duck which looked fantastic, and I was pretty nearly tempted. But I was good! I had my beets, and spicy swiss chard, wild rice with celery, a spinach salad with strawberries and sesame dressing, carrots with frangelico, and pumpkin pie from real pumpkins and butternut squash. I didn’t get photos all weekend, as I was busy sulking in jammies. Saturday I did go shopping, and got jeans, a sweater, and a top at the grocery store (joe fresh), two headbands at Wal-Mart, and two cardigans at Zellers, as well as underthings at Change, a new store in Angrignon Mall which carries up to a J-cup! I went to the last show at Montreal Fashion Week last night (Défilé tendance SMM19). It was pretty okay. The clothes, they were not for me, really, but the experience was pretty nifty. The tights were bright, the tailoring was unstructured. There was a lot of torn clothing, and fancy things paired with schlubby things. Some of the items can be seen in the first few photos here.
