Not because things have changed or anything, just helps to “talk”. And so, I give you an outfit.<\/p>\n
Dress, Joe Fresh Not nearly warm enough for bare legs yet, but I’m hopeful it will come! Winter is so long, every time I think it is over it starts back up! I am so looking forward to spring, and green trees, and grass, and flowers! I’m hoping to start a small garden of edibles, the idea of scarfing down my own potatoes just pleases me immensely. <\/p>\n Other things going on? Well, I’m slowly but surely learning the old French. Classes at work have finished, so I suppose I’ve technically graduated from at least one class! We’re watching Top Chef France at home, and I am not reading any books at all. We’ll see how that goes. i did pick up a copy of Le Petit Prince, and my favourite book of all time, The Giver, in French (Le Passeur), and I am hopeful to finish them, when I have time! <\/p>\n Running around with looking for a home, and wedding, and work, and friends, and and and, I’ve been so busy! <\/p>\n I’ve seen neither Lauren nor Aaron in weeks, though. I miss Lauren, though every time I’ve tried to speak with her she’s been too busy. I guess when she is ready she’ll reach out. For Aaron, well, he’s always too busy, too. I guess we all are. It is hard to be a grownup. <\/p>\n I have spent some time with Shiv this week, and it was wonderful! We went to a marmalade workshop given by Preservation Society<\/a> – and boy howdy was it amazing! Camille has such passion and vigor, it was a real pleasure to be around. We made two marmalades in class, and I took home a lemon, marmgarita, and the seville orange. They’re all amazing. I thought I didn’t like marmalade, but I was super wrong. <\/p>\n We also went to a pottery class! I made a bowl!! <\/p>\n It was wickedly fun, I can’t wait to see it once it has dried and whatnot. It was given by Poterie BonMatin<\/a> and I would definitely do it again. She has a very zen manner, it was a very peaceful experience – I managed to forget everything while I was working on that bowl! Super delightful. <\/p>\n Next week, we’re off to the Ceramic Cafe<\/a> to paint some pre-made potteries, and the week of April 1, to Paint Nite<\/a>!
