It’s been one year since I got LASIK.<\/p>\n

How’s it been? Amazing! It really is the best thing I’ve ever done. At first, it took getting used to – I missed my glasses, I missed being able to immediately project something about myself on my face. I still miss that, but not half as much. <\/p>\n

The little changes have been striking. I used to have to shower with my glasses on, so I could see to tell shampoo from conditioner. Coming in from the cold and not fogging up still gives me a little thrill. Not needing little wipers in the rain. And the sunglasses! I can just buy whatever sunglasses I want!! <\/p>\n

Before my surgery, I did a little photoshoot with Jules of all of my glasses. Here it is, one year later.<\/p>\n
