I have reasons for my absence. Chiefly, when I get home at the end of a day, I don’t really feel like spending a tonne of time staring at another computer. \ud83d\ude00 First time I’ve ever felt like that. These days, I’m spending a bit more time outside, a bit more time “relaxing”, and a lot more time sleeping.<\/p>\n
What have I done in the last three months? Well.. Let’s see..<\/p>\n
I went Go-Karting<\/a> with work. It was terrifying, and I may have almost cried a little bit, but the gentleman running the event was so kind to me. He made me feel absolutely at ease. He heard I’d never ridden a bike, let alone a car, and came over and explained everything to me, and let me know that I wasn’t out there racing against anyone – it was just me out there, and I could do it \ud83d\ude42 And I did!<\/p>\n Since then, I sort of feel like maybe I can do all kinds of things I thought I couldn’t, and … I started learning to drive a bicycle. Really! It’s slow going, as I have to borrow Aaron’s BMX and co-ordinating times with him when it works for both of us has been rough, but I’ve been out two or three times, and I can totally go in a straight line! It’s super neato. <\/p>\n What else of note? I moved! J and I are now in a beautiful Victorian number, with an actual outside space, that I cannot wait to get out and play in. I dream of taking tea outside in the morning, it will be so delightful. I say will be, because we don’t yet have a patio set. SOON, though! <\/p>\n I’ve been pretty occupied – seen movies, eaten in new spots, tried a new Blow-Dry bar, and .. maybe I got a haircut \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n Before you get to that, though, I’ve got a boatload of outfits queued, that I never got round to posting from months back.
