I hope your winter has been treating you well. It has been very cold on me this year! I find myself wearing two pairs of pants, two scarves, sweaters, bulky overcoats and boots, hats. The temperatures dip so low my face hurts and I crank around like an old miser.

But on Valentine’s Day, everything changes.

I spent my first married Valentine’s day feeling dreadfully under the weather! We made the best of it, installed a Nest in the house, and curled up with some Doctor Who, and blankies. Julie surprised me with some delightful cupcakes from Cookie Stefanie. All in all, we had a lovely time, despite my sickness.

I am looking forward to springtime, though. Here’s hoping it comes sooner than later!
