2014 is over already? PicSpam Year In Review….

This was a pretty major year! I hope that 2015 has even more goodies in store for me. Here’s what 2014 looked like.

January

We started the year off right – in DisneyWorld! I got to meet Piglet, and Pooh, and I saw princesses! The trip was our first with friends, and it was absolutely magical.

February

Took it a bit easy in February. Our house-search began in earnest, so our biggest event was trekking up to St-Come in Quebec to see their awesome ice-sculpture festival!

March

In March, I turned a rock into a bowl, with my own two hands, and the nice lady instructor’s hands. It’s exceedingly difficult, but the result was very cool.

April

In April, we went out to New Brunswick for MinaFest 2014, and went gluten-free sugaring off! Dumfries Maple, you’re the best. I hope we get out there again in 2015!

May

After months of searching, we found our new home! Buying a house is hard, hard work, and I hope I don’t have to do it again for a long time. Mary Jane worked her butt off for us, we looked at probably forty places, and she was a rock in getting us through it. If you need a broker, she’s the best.

My stunning engagement ring was ready! Pearls, Girls, and Gems custom designed this for us. I could not be happier with it.

July

Relaxing time! We spent Canada Day in Bethel, Maine with our buds, floated down the Aroostook rive in some tubes, hung out in the hot tub, and hit the outlets for some excellent deals on new shoes.

August

August was a hectic month of last-minute prep, birthday parties (mine), and our bachelor(ette) parties! Here I am being fed rapini after a long night.

September

The biggest thing we did this year, probably, is get hitched! It was a perfect day.

October

My first camping trip! Camping is awesome and Scott Brook is amazing. I very much look forward to doing it again!

November

Honeymoon! My first time to Europe, and meeting my new extended family. It was a wonderful trip (and yes, we went to Eurodisney.)

December

With such a jam-packed year, December has been full of jammies, couch, and World of Warcraft.

More happened, of course: I got to watch two of my great friends get married (to each other), which was amazing and beautiful and their day was perfection. Two more friends annouced they’re going to be creating life with their insides, which is amazing. I got to see Wicked, and The Book of Mormon, The ST:TNG Engaged! panel at Montreal ComicCon, Scott Bradlee’s PMJ, twice, Pete Holmes hugged me at Just for Laughs, MONSTER TRUCKS, and even more. 2014 was fantastic, and I hope 2015 can compete!

Happy New Year!
