Here’s where we see just how deep my problem goes: Lipsticks. I love them. I love shimmer, I love matte, I love cremes. I like how they feel going on, I like how they gradually fade over the course of the day (or hour, in some cases!). Lipsticks are my weakness. I got to leave the house again! We took Vex to the vet to have her stitches removed. She’s doing okay. She still has a cone (giant cone), and still goes for the tail, but less frequently, and she comes out and spends time with us instead of hiding all the time. Julie’s apparently got plans to build them a giant cat tree. Hopefully she will enjoy it, and it will amuse her enough that the lure of delicious tail is lessened. I had errands! On Tuesday, I went out to meet Mary Jane about a hat. It is lovely. While out, I had lunch with Lauren, in the Eaton Centre food court. Still being sick, we opted for big asian soups. I got a korean kalbi tang, and Lauren a new noodle spot, Nudo, where they make the noodles fresh. Both were pretty fantastic. My first day not working is in progress, and so far it is going well! I’m making pickles, roasting tomatoes, and a knock at the door brought my Julep box! I wasn’t super super keen on the colours in my regular option, Classic With a Twist, it was a sort of taupey brown and a black colour. Did you know that I’m 29 now? I am, as of last weekish. My birthday day itself was absolutely wonderful. The lad took me to a petting farm, no lie. I saw goats, and baby goats, and deers, and cows!, and horsies, and donkeys, and llamas (no hats, though) and giant pigs.
